About the Author:

Lynn Swanson is a dancer, dance educator and writer. She holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan and an MA in Creative Writing from Michigan State University. Her passion for young dancers and memories of her personal experiences at summer dance programs fired her imagination for Summer Dance. Lynn is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
